Boring Wedensday
Today nothing will probably happen and this whole week nothing had happened. All except one thing and that is it snowed yesterday and rained all night. So we have about 3/4 of an inch because you can still see the grass sticking out the top. The whole school is anticipating winter break which is about a week away. I hope this week dosent feel like last week, it was soooo looong. but it seems to be going by pretty fast.

Free Blog(BB King & John Mayer)

Kinda boring week nothing really happened. Last Night I had no homework and I watched TV most of the night. I started watching the Grammy's which came on at nine and I saw a commercial that said B.B. King and John Mayer were going to play. I wasn't sure why they were just announcing the nominations but they said the winners will be announced on Feb.3, which I thought made no sense. Well anyway I had to wait until the end for BB and John to play but it ended at 10 so no big deal. They had a great performance. I really like the music those two play. Im glad BB is stil going because he is very old. I saw B.B. King last year and it was amazing. I think John Mayer still has a long way to go.

Post Thanksgiving Post

Our school just got off of a two day break because last Thursday was one of my favorite holidays of the year, Thanksgiving. I ate to an extreme I was eating all day before diner and still finished two plates of food. All of the food that was included was of course Turkey, Ham, Corn, Potatoes, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Sweet Potatoes, and before that we ate a lot of Chestnuts and had Wedding Soup before that. My favorite had to be the stuffing. It is so good.

Button Description Story
I could hear the trumpets and the snare drums going off in the background. This was nothing new to me, for I belonged to a General George S. Patton of the American Army in WWII. General George has used me a countless amount of times just to keep his green tweed jacket nice and tight. I have been used for that purpose from the shores of Iwo Jima to where I am today, a military ceremony. I am not just used to keep a jacket tight. I have special engravings to signify what Gen. George has done in his service to the army. I keep getting new friends next to me all the time because Gen. George has done so much. I am also getting newer engravings added to my magnificent golden features all of the time. I have witnessed a large amount of important moments in my life, and plan to add to my experiences.

Character Story
Once upon a time, there was a professional gigolo who was living in Paris France. It was really a surprise to him to get the profession that he is. Considering his background as a child and the things that he liked to do. During his early childhood, his mother dragged him into church every Sunday. He was the sneaky choirboy that everybody in the church was complaining about. He would purposely sing out of key, flick things into the next row of the choir, and make weird noises whenever in was silent. He got a good snicker but the rest of the church was furious with the boy and the boy’s mother. The rest of the church was so annoyed from what has constantly been happening for the past four months, that they forced the boy and his mother out of town.
The mother was extremely mad at the boy yet also very aware that he needed help. He thought that he needed an outlet for his love of making people angry. She thought one day that she would sign her son up for the Boy Scout troop that meets at the church. Of what she thought would be good for the boy, did not turn out so good. The boy scout troop was too laid back and too relaxed for the boy. He was much too energetic for the Boy Scouts.
So while shopping one day she saw a flyer that offered lessons for gymnastics and acrobatics. She thought that she would sign up her son because not many people get injured in it and it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Once again the mother found that her son was too distracted to be an acrobat. He just couldn’t seem to do anything right. In acrobat class he wouldn’t leave the girls alone. Until one day his mother came home one day when the boy was 18. He left a note saying that he had started a new career. We all know what that is.

Phree Phillies Blog

Last Night was Game 1 of the 2008 World Series. I stayed up until as much as i could until i went to bed. But not even the bed could stop me, i had the radio going on right next to my bed. Sadly i fell asleep right before the ninth inning because that is the latest i remember being spoken about, after that i could not remember a thing. I woke up this morning and found that the score had stayed the same as i remember and the Phillies are going to the second game with a win. That should take a lot of pressure off of Brett Myers, tonights starting pitcher.

Frost
Today I woke up and went to go look out of the window. What I saw was something beautiful. The trees were completely covered in frost. Everything was white, flaky, and delicate. I was caught up in all the beauty when I just realized that it was 6:30 AM Monday Morning and I had to go to school which ruined the moment.

Foggy Fall Morning

Today is Tuesday Oct.14, 2008 and is what you could say a lazy foggy fall morning. It is starting to get very difficult each morning to get up because everyday it gets darker and darker in the morning. Unlike the very beginning of the year when the sky was filled with sunlight and you woke up fast. Today feels like it it going to be a very boring day, but it never is at Wissahickon.

Blue Comet Favorite Restaurant
The restaurant that I go to and is my favorite is called The Blue Comet. The Blue Comet is an old bar type of scene with a kitchen as big as a walk in closet. The food that comes out of that little kitchen is amazing, and there is so much variety. Everything has a home made unique taste. The atmosphere is also very enjoyable, with the Mater.D greeting people and the waiters in black an white with bow ties. Not to mention the live performances coming from a Mr. Tommy Conwell, that just puts the cherry on top.

Random and On My Mind

Today is 10/8/08. At school we have Thursday off and Friday Off. I am very happy it is only a three day week. That means we have a four day weekend. On Monday I dropped my guitar off at Georgs Music to get a setup(udjustments to the guitar due to heavier gauge strings, which means more pressure) and I was surprised to hear that it would take two weeks to finish it. I guess it will be worth it though. Also I will be rooting on the PHILLIES to go and win the National League Championship Series. GO PHILLS

Success
Success: A time of achievement based on work.
Success is when you have reached a great accomplishment that has been reached by hard-work.
What will take anybody to be successful is to firstly have confidence. But thats also a very big question, Do you need confidence for success? or, Do you need success for confidence?

Rainy Friday

Today is gloomy and cloudy with water falling from the sky. You wake up and it is still dark out. Which is kind of a good thing because if it was lighter the sky would be a dull gray color. I wouldn't really mind the weather if it was on any other day, but today is Friday and it is going to be boring when I get home. Probably because the roads are slippery and dangerous to drive on. I really hate rainy fridays.

Strumming Peace (Poem)
Vibrations are followed with lovely singing
Of squirrels and birds, while my guitar is ringing,
The song that comes with only peace
For when there is fray, the songs will cease.
The steel is strummed, to create repose
Nobody knows, why the song flows,
In our minds, it is so large
It gives our souls, some kind of charge.
We are confused by this special force
Though we don’t even question its great source,
We gather in venus, theatres, and parks
Just to see people, play under arcs.
We seem to be crazy, when it's really pondered,
But it's just music, noise, with a special power
Even though its just noise, it shall always be wondered.
Of squirrels and birds, while my guitar is ringing,
The song that comes with only peace
For when there is fray, the songs will cease.
The steel is strummed, to create repose
Nobody knows, why the song flows,
In our minds, it is so large

Strumming Peace
He sat down with the sounds of nature. His fingers being in complete sync with the wind blowing in the trees, and animals scurrying around. The beauty that was once part of the trees, but was not thought out yet. Not exposed until the aid from humans. With their tools that were able to carve a single tree into an instrument with such big roots, and such big meaning. Directly after the carving, came the wounding of steel. Placed with an extreme amount of pressure. This pressure held the capability of having most peaceful and relaxing noises imaginable. Though it could not be created just by itself. There needed to be a soul with the same amount of grace. This leads us to when one boy changed the life of his whole family……
………All he could hear was arguments, screaming, yelling, and with the pain of constant headaches. He had put up with this all until he could not take it anymore. Until he had went storming out of the house with a following slam. Having the windows being open did not help much at all. He could not even hear the animals of nature chirping and scurrying around outside. He was filled with anger, just trying to think of a way to stop this madness.
He knew that music had this some sort of “magical ability” of calming down the human body and mind. Though he came to discover that his family would not calm with music coming from a radio, or a cd. They would only calm through pure, live, music, coming from the same room or building which they were occupied. So he went digging through his room, eventually scrounging up his old guitar from which he has formerly came to be an amateur, but rarely played. He walked down and outside and began playing beautiful folk, blues, and jazz music, while he waited for the arguments and headaches to arrive home. He was playing there on his porch when he came to feel that all of his stress disappeared as if they were traveling away in the sound waves with the notes, leaving the guitar. He also came to discover that there were no arguments in his home for that night. Though the most amazing thing he came to find out was that he could hear the squirrels screeching, and the birds chirping. He continued this on for months until all of the worries in the family disappeared.
The family came to have this feeling that everything was going to be alright, and nothing bad was going to happen. All because of this one boys discoveries, and well thought out theories, he helped his family overcome the killing ways of stress and worries.
